這個答案，看到larger就知道，後面一定要加 than 做比較。

the+形容形=名詞。可以看成the 形容詞 (one，people，thing 省略)。例如像 the rich, the poor ,the aged

後面his brother's 也是名詞。中間少了介詞 OF  所以文法錯

但這會語意不合，five times (五倍，名詞) 

因為 就算改成 five times the larger of  his brother's.

二個名詞在一起，後面的名詞是形容前面的名詞的狀況。可以看成關代的形容方式

5 times(that is the larger of his brother's) 變成在他的哥哥的其中較大的理想大學五倍。意思完全不能用

(D) as large

這個as 如此一樣 的意思。是副詞。就是和 so large 的用法一樣。(形容後面的形容詞，叫副詞…)

large his brother's  句意無法解釋，因為語無倫次+句意無法表達。...............大他的哥哥的理想大學，這應該叫轉品

但轉品會變成二個動詞，英文應該沒有轉品的用法，20人選啊……。
