像這種用法不懂的話，接下來有一個比as often as 還常用的，可能也是不懂，未來錯的機會也是大。
這就是as soon as 這個超常考的，應該。而且是相同觀念的東西。
一樣用奇摩字典來舉例好了

He left as soon as he heard the news . 他一聽到這事兒就走了。
就把as當成so的用法來用就對了。 as=如此一樣。 so 如此。所以as只比so多了一樣的意思。
這裡的soon是副詞，as也是副詞。 as soon 是說明left是怎麼樣的動作, 所以是 如此一樣地快
中文這句應該是
他 如此一樣快地 離開，當他聽到這消息。

這應該大家都會說吧，不會說的話那應該看不懂我下面的解釋了。會說的話就會看的懂。
thank you so much。這句中文叫 謝謝你 非常地。
也就是 thank you 是謝謝你。
加了副詞表示是如何的謝謝你，所以加了so much 如此十分地 謝謝=> thank so much。
也就是so much是形容thank的動作，而不是you. 這可以理解的話就可以解釋這外國人的問題。

這一句那裡錯？
第一：你有聽過有人說 thank you so possible？ possible 是可能的，是形容詞。你用形容詞就是形容名詞you。
這個翻成中文的話： 幫助可能的你，如同是我所能(這完全就是不行)
所以是下面這樣的句子才正確
I will be glad to help you as much as I can
thank you so much=>much 形容thank的程度 so=如此 much=非常，十分，盡力地做(形容動作的狀態，所以是盡力的意思，這應該沒爭議吧？不然下面不好解釋)
所以 help you as much===> much形容help的程度。 as=一樣，如同 much=十分盡力
所以這中文是 如同十分盡力幫助你，

我將很樂意去盡力地幫助你如同我所能。上面橘色的AS是連接詞

簡單說possibly是形容are的動作，所以這句是 as they were ??
they were 他們是什麼沒說 ，所以要改成

他們盡力待在一起，當他們還是學生(加了possibly)會變成->當他們或許是學生。所以是少了受詞。和possibly是 或許 的意思。
(D) as many as possible they stayed together as many as possible
還原=> they stayed together as many they are possible
MANY不是副詞，所以無法形容動詞的程度。MANY是形容詞，代名詞。
他們不是many........。
中文會是 他是是許多一樣… 的意思
as many as的用法是這樣，
例子He has as many as five brother
就把as當成so的用法來用就對了。 as=如此一樣。 so 如此。所以as只比so多了一樣的意思。
he has as many 無法理解沒關係。
改成he has so many.他有如此多 再外加 "一樣" 的意思。
Take as many cookies as you want同上把as當成 so+一樣 的意思。
take so many cookies. 拿如此多的餅乾。+"一樣"
=>拿如此一樣多的餅乾，當你想要(如同你想要)。as you want
因此，d的意思完全不通。這是在考你知不知道第一個 as是副詞外。外國人也問(應該是偽外國人吧)
as + 形容詞/副詞 + as possible 盡可能地……
= as + 形容詞/副詞 + as one can
You must study as hard as you can.
= You must study as hard as possible.
例："Could you come back here as possible as you can?" 這是錯誤的，
應該是: Could you come back here as soon as possible? (可用ASAP記)
