此為「對等連接詞」，連接的詞性要一致。
例如：(1) Amy is not only beautiful but also kind. Amy不但很漂亮而且很親切。
            (2) The dog can not only count numbers but also play the drum. 這隻狗不僅會數數而且還會打鼓。
