13 We can easily extricate ourselves from the problem of deciding which animals are truly social by simply saying that all sexual animals are social but that they differ enormously in degree.
(A) To make the task of deciding the sociality of animals less complicated, we can simply say that all animals that are sexual are, more or less, social.
