(A) contrastive analysis hypothesis

對比分析假說

對比分析假說（contrastive analysis hypothesis）由美國語言學家羅伯特拉多博士（Dr. Robert Lado）於1957年提出。 

 

拉多認為，第二語言的獲得也是通過刺激、反應、強化而形成習慣。但與第一語言習得不同的是：第二語言和第一語言不同時，學習者會藉助第一語言的一些規則，這會產生負遷移作用，也叫做干擾。而且他認為兩種語言最不同的地方，學生最難掌握，相同的、類似的地方則比較容易掌握。

因此他主張對第一語言和目的語進行語音、語法等方面的共時的對比，從而確定兩者的相同點和不同點，預測學生有可能出現的錯誤。
