【易混淆動詞：wear / put on / dress】

◆wear (穿著) → 描述「狀態」

She wears a blue skirt today. (她今天穿著一件藍色的裙子。)

◆put on (穿上) → 表「瞬間動作」

She put on a blue skirt and went out. (她穿上一件藍色的裙子後出去了。)

※注意：本句的put為過去式，put為三態同形的動詞：put-put-put。

◆dress的用法比較特別，通常是作「(給人)穿上衣服；穿著…的衣服」解

1. Please dress the child. (請幫這個孩子穿上衣服)

2. She “is dressed in” green. = she “dresses herself in” green. (她穿著綠衣服)

3. He “is dressed in” his uniform. = He is “wearing” his uniform. (她穿著制服)

※注意：當dress與wear同義，皆表示「穿著…」時，dress會用被動用法：be dressed in + 所穿的衣服 or 衣服的顏色。

4. My friends and I “dressed up” for the wedding. (我和朋友們盛裝出席這場婚禮)

※ dress up表示「盛裝」的意思。
