After a tight loss to Japan on Friday, the Taiwan team crashed out of the World Baseball
Classic yesterday （March 9, 2013）after losing to Cuba 14-0 in a mercy ruleshorthanded
game. Chinese Taipei beat the Kingdom of the Netherlands and Australia
in the first round to advance to Tokyo.
They exited the Classic having lost their final
three games against Korea (to close out the first round), Japan and Cuba. （15 分）
