As technology developed along with climate changes, people started to reflect on polluting vehicles. The more developed a country is, the more vehicles its people own. This situation leads to great amount of CO2 pollution. In order to improve air pollution, electric cars seems to be a more environment friendly choice.

From one side, electric cars are 'clear' vehicles in urban areas. First of all, electric cars pollute less CO2 than traditional vehicles. The air quality can be better if electric cars become more popular. Scond of all, electric cars don't make lots of noise. It's almost a silent mechine, which is a benefit to drivers, pessengers and pedestrian. 

From another side, there are some criticisms of electric cars. Firstly, electirc cars in the market are far more expensive than normal cars. It's unaffordable to average people. Secondly, electric cars consumes lots of electricity. However, the process of electricity generation might not be eco-friendly. Those power plants create huge pollution.

Nowadays, there are pros and cons of electric cars. Despite of those disabilities, it's believed that electric cars will gain more market share. Problems of electric cars will be solved as technology develop. Having electric cars will be trending in the future.
