A bold man is “courageous” but a bold woman is “aggressive.” A person who is innovative is “pushy” if female, but “original” if male. If insistent, a female is “hysterical,” but a male is “persistent.” A female is “over-emotional,” a male is “committed” in a politically involved situation.
