The number of Korean dramas played in Taiwan is staggering. Taiwan's idol drama produced about 50 a year, but in 2010 Taiwan's television channel plus the China Telecom's MOD digital station broadcast 162 of Korean dramas, why are Korean dramas so attractive? What impact do they have on the Taiwan theatre industry?
