Practice is the activity through which language skills are thoroughly consolidated. As such, the most important classroom activity of the teacher is to initiate and manage activities that provide students with opportunities for effective practice. What are the characteristics of an effective practice activity in a language classroom? Give a few examples of effective practice activities/tasks from your own teaching experiences to support your ideas.
