As I am also a on-line English learner, I strongly recommend two English magazines, EZ talk , Let's Talk in English and Youtube for English listening materials. EZ Talk focus more on daily conversational topic which is about poupular music, movie and new inovations. Compares to EZ talk, Let's talk in English is sometimes academic. Besides, people can also find various kinds of songs and short movies via Youtube. Thus, I will divided them into five parts for each item. First , listening to the teaching material at least once for ten minute. Second, introudce the key vocabularies. Third, listening to the material one more time. Fourth, try to fill in the blank or spell-out. Fifth, make a short summary of the story by writing it m down and speaking it out. My stragety tend to top- down strategy. As the students get more familiar with English listening class, maybe we can make the test skills more changeable , matching or open-questions.

I think maybe I will play audio book for teaching English listening. At the beginning, it seems hard to understand the content of what the recorder is reading. But when students have practiced again and again, they will develop a skill by themselves to find out what the content is. They may feel discouraged at first time because they can't follow the reading. That's not a problem, everyone are the same. Nobody can understand at the first try, but students can't give up. The more students practice, the more students gain. Students won't have to understand by each word, but it is all in all to them that they should have the ability to comprehend in their mind about the outline of the story, and interpret to others by his words.
