Such structural damages and deteriorations imply deficiencies including material wastage, fractures and deformations caused by excessive corrosion, design faults, material defects or bad workmanship, navigation in extreme weather conditions, loading and unloading operations, water ballast exchange at sea, wear and tear and contact.
