A documentary will be screened during the inaugural of New Narratives Film Festival to feature some special music styles. More than 30 films will be screened, and the festival also features panels, live music and workshops with filmmakers. Attendees will have a chance to speak with the famous directors after tomorrow’s screening and participate in a music workshop on Sunday. It is said that organizers wanted to put on the festival to redefine Hakka culture within a modern context, breaking from the traditional historic symbols and perceptions.
