Do you ever stare at photos of delicious food online? If so, these pictures might have made your mouth water. But why are people so interested in food that they can’t actually eat? Believe it or not, the habit of looking at food we can’t eat is normal due to supernormal stimulus. This occurs when animals choose exaggerated versions of things over the originals.
