Part B. 40 points. Answer two (2) of the following essay questions. Write an essay on each of the three essay questions of your choice. Each essay should be at least 20 sentences, but an essay that is longer than 20 sentences will not necessarily earn you a better score, as you are being assessed on the quality of your ideas as well as on your ability to express ideas in a clear and precise fashion. You will not receive extra credit for writing more than two essays. If you choose to write more than two essays, your grader will evaluate the first two essays written in your answer book.

(1). If you were to teach an undergraduate course on British literature of the nineteenth and twentieth century, which authors and literary works would you list as required readings on the syllabus? How would you introduce the authors and works of the course syllabus to students on the first day of class? Introduce the authors and works briefly (as if you were the instructor in the classroom speaking to students). Explain why they are required readings for the course.
