Vazirani－Akinosi closed-mouth mandibular block： Inferior alveolar nerve
同時有兩人發現這個方法，所以用兩個名字合在一起，其特點是用在嘴巴打不開的病人，但也要麻醉 inferior alveolar nerve 的時候，因麻醉位置較高，所以麻到的區域也較廣，但是比較不精準。
The Gow－Gates technique： Inferior alveolar nerve 之上游
打的位置很高，在 condylar neck 附近，這個位置是 nerve 的上游位置，nerve 較粗，可以麻醉的範圍較廣，但 onset 會比較慢。
